Microsoft has released the block on the download for Photo Story 3 for
Windows 7 Home Premium. Thank you MS--now all the home movie
buffs are back in business. This is the best piece of free software for
making home movies--ever.

That's for XP. Does it also work in Win7 even though it's not listed?
Thanks.

Just loaded it up in Win 7 Ultimate x64. Installed quickly and runs well.

Yes, it works very well for a freebie! There are a few features that could
be added, but all-in-all
it does an admirable job. I just created a Photo Story "movie" from 45
stills, added custom music and
a starting title, but didn't add any narration. The whole job took me under
an hour.
One of the nicest features is the "black bar elimination", which crops
pictures nicely
and allows you to select the frame positioning. I just uploaded it to
YouTube as a "gift"
for the party involved.
