Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Updated

The ALV Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page now includes responses to queries about the need for a learners' view (ALV) of learning when programs like Response to Intervention (RTI) exist. The short distinction is that ALV consists of choices learners make while learning lessons. It describes the active ingredients of learning (AIL) learners will most likely choose when learning a lesson. It also describes relationships among AILs and lessons. To the extent that teachers use AILs in lessons, it is likely that learners will learn those lessons. Said another way, ALV describes the source of what makes learning likely to occur during lessons.
