Hi:
All fonts on the desktop is VERY clear and crisp to touch.

However, all fonts/texts, both web-sites and O.E. along with M.S. Newsgroup
is NOT clear and crisp, .... rather 'smudgy and dingy' looking.

Is there any way to improve appearance of fonts in both Web-sites and O.E.
along with M.S. Newsgroup?

Thanks for your help in advance.

They will continue to be smudged if you keep touching them.

Don't you just LOVE the replies like the other one you got?

I have found "use font smoothing" which is supposed to make
fonts look better, makes them look horrible. I turned it off,
beautiful. There may be a separate setting for it in IE/OE.

Also, IE/OE is the most dangerous application in the world, so I
would highly suggest you experiment with another browser and
email/Usenet program(s).

For SIMPLE (no javascript or flash, no webmail etc.) and faster
than you can blink browsing, also 100% secure, try OffByOne. For
full-featured browsing I strongly suggest Opera. XNews for
Usenet and whatever you want for email. (Opera has both Usenet
and email built-in but I haven't used them. It IS the best
browser but I have heard varying things about those other 2
components. They are certain to be safer than anything MS makes
though).

In whatever browser you are using , there should be an option to use
own font or web font .
