I am having the same problem as stated below, (VISTA, IE but the answer is
too complicated for me and this
site http://windowsxp.mvps.org/ie/redxorg.htm (When you click the Organize
Favorites submenu under Favorites menu, the Organize Favorites dialog opens,
but a Red X mark may be present where the Favorites list is to be displayed.
Resolution
Fix for Internet Explorer 7 and above
Download ieframe-fix.zip, unzip and run the enclosed REG file. The REG file
restores the missing/incorrect values in the following registry location:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ CLSID \ {55136805-B2DE-11D1-B9F2-00A0C98BC547}
Fix for Internet Explorer 6 does not work for me in
Vista IE 8 ( I can't get it to unzip). If I could get a simpler answer, I
would appreciate it
