F11 is supposed to turn full screen off and on, but it doesn't do that for

I use XP Pro, SP3 and IE8. F11 turns the Task Bar and the Title Bar on and
off, making IE display Full Screen. The Address Bar remains visible, and the
options that are set by doing a Right Click on the Command Bar and selecting
or deselecting the vairous options.

You never bothered to identify your keyboard. Maybe it is one of those with
the F-Lock button to toggle between two sets of configurations for the
f-keys - and you forgot to hit the F-Lock key to select the default f-key
definitions. Some keyboards will remember their F-Lock state between
reboots of Windows, some will not so you get stuck having to hit F-Lock
everytime you load Windows and login.

Hi,

Thanks for the tip.... That solved a long running enigma.

Gosh! That had me fooled.

Regards.
