    When I switch on my computer, the following message widnow showup. I can not
    do anything, except to the the task manager. I try to restart the computer
    and the problem is gone.

    =====================================================
    Explorer.EXE - Application Error

    The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click on ok to
    terminate the application.
    =====================================================

    The problem occur very frequently and I can only solve it by restart the

    To start Explorer.exe and bring up the Desktop icons and Taskbar without
    having to restart the computer; on the Taskmanager\Applications tab\click
    New Task..." and type "Explorer.exe" (no quotes) and hit Enter. Another
    temporary fix is to rename the Explorer.exe file in C:/WINDOWS\Explorer.exe,
    to Explorer1.exe, then in the Registry; (Start\Run\type; "regedit" no quotes
    and hit Enter), browse to the Winlogon key;
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
    NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Shell (REG_SZ) and rename the data, from
    Explorer.exe to Explorer1.exe...

    These are just temporaty solutions so you can work the computer while you
    can fix the actual cause which according to available information, is a
    Vundo virus infection. To delete that virus, you need to scan your computer
    with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware http://www.malwarebytes.org/

    And just in case MBAM doesn't help, Vundofix should.
