Explorer crashes when I try copying data from CD to hard drive

Can anyone explain why this happens?

I can play the files from my hard drive, but when I transfer them onto a folder on the computer, explorer crashes.

I don't see why. I have plenty of room on the computer and 4GB ram.

Anyways, I did and same story.
