Wall Street Journal, 14 January 2012: DAVID B. AGUS reviewed his recently published book End of Illness. He highlights the proposition that people can live long, illness-free lives.

"Most of the conditions that kill us, including cancer and heart disease, could be prevented or delayed by a new way of looking at and treating health. The end of illness is near."

In short, scientists have described sufficient numbers of causes of diseases to treat individuals with targeted prescriptions instead of waiting for these causes to develop and then treat with broad scope prescriptions such as radiation.

He then describes potential and new digital tools that will permit individualized medical treatment before the body "breaks down" in ways that cause diseases, including cancers and heart diseases. Read more. And still more!
