double launch at IE launch from quick launch

When I launch Internet Explorer I sometimes get a double launch. Most of the
time I launch from the quick start bar. It happens also from the standard
desktop icon also. ???

Adjust your mouse's double-click speed setting (slower), double-click
faster, or change the default action to single-click?

Are you single- or double-clicking on the shortcuts in the toolbars in the
Windows taskbar? Toolbar buttons only requires a single-click to run
whatever is defined as their command string.
