Document Imaging producing a blank image

Flightless Bird
I can use Windows Fax and Scan to scan a tif without any problem, but after
succesfully running Document Imaging to scan the same document, it produces
nothing but a white sheet, completely blank of any data.

I have Windows 7 64.
