Instructors decide whether give to priority (2a) to descriptions of the content or (2b) to discussions about the lesson. Descriptions of a lesson enumerate and emphasize how learners meet criterion. Discussion about a lesson include explanations, opinions, and reasons for the criterion and steps to meet it.
