It may seem a bit off the road ... but.
I would like your bridge to create a new forum when I make a new post and then put the titles plus some info maybe about the titles in the post automatically. As it is now, I have to make a post (1), make a forum (2), put a link/text snippet in the forum description (3) and make an rss-widget or something and put that in the wordpress post/page (4).
What am I trying to achieve ? Right now, the resource manager is useless for my purpose, since the discussion tab is a bunch of unorganized mess, that no sane man would want to read through ... I would like a wordpress post to have its own forum for discussion - replacing the really hopeless and outdated discussion system in wordpress (amazing how that core function of a blog system is so underdeveloped and underappreciated). The same mess applies for me with the discussion system in wordpress.
I want the users to put something useful to a blog post, by forcing them to start a new thread if they want to add anything to a blog post ... forcing them to choose a prefix, partly for the psychology of it and partly for a more structured approach to a discussion. As it is now, people just put a lot of ¤¤¤¤¤. But if I remind them that they should have some kind of purpose for writing a comment and they should for example choose between 1. adding information, 2. asking for more information in relation to the article, add some thoughts for an update of the post .... and so on .... hopefully that would add something of value.
In other words: In stead of creating a new thread and inter-linking post and thread - I want it at the other level: Create a post with a forum and interlink those two.
Hope its understandable.
