Is there some way to copy the contents of one notebook to another notebook
that includes all the formating - ie font size, color, type, tags and all
drawings ?

Thanks In advance

No specific option.
It just works like that ;-)
It's simply standard that all of the formatting is carried on when
inserting inside ON.
It may be different when pasting in another app (f.e. Word) and vice
versa.

There may be a problem if you use custom tags.
Look at this thread:

Are you asking about copying an entire NOTEBOOK, all at one time --
or, rather, about copying contents IN GENERAL? It is easy to copy a
Page or a Section and all formatting automatically comes with the copy
(so I assume you are not asking about this).

If you mean copying a complete NOTEBOOK in one simple operation,
there is no direct way to do so, AFAIK, but maybe others know of a
work-around.
