Cookies setting?

I'm constantly losing user name / password settings on webpages that used to
last for a day (ebay) or a couple weeks (YAHOO).

I'm using IE 8, it used to work fine, some setting must have gotten messed
up but I can't figure out how to fix it.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Perhaps you should post in an IE-specific newsgroup then?

I don't recommend allowing web sites to set cookies containing your
username & password, or any other information for that matter. ;-)

I have IE 8 64 Bit installed but tend to use IE 8 only as a backup.

I use Opera_Beta & Opera_Version 1054.
I have my Opera versions delete cookies when I close the browsers,
because I don't want cookies lingering on my browsers.

Instead of relying on cookies Opera can save your passwords for you.
