Concerns about losing data...

We looked into bridging WordPress and Xenforo about 4-5 years ago and were told by a developer at that time that is was not doable without losing all of our forum data (all posts and history). This is not an option for us. The history on our site/forum is important. When you use XenWord to bridge these two, do you lose your history? Please confirm this has been fixed in this current solution.

Thank you!

My first impulse to answering this question was to resoundingly state no. However, I want to clarify that four years ago, this bridge was released such that it modified the WordPress table, and comments were pulled from XenForo, thus not showing older WordPress comments.

This all changed years ago with shifts to properly using meta tables and building in redundancies so comments are written to XF and XF replies are written as WP comments.

Baring normal challenges (no backups, server corruption, etc), adding a bridge wouldn't lead to database losses.
