I have music doanloaded over some time and all worked fine but along the line
with upgrading media player (i think) the music is in "my music" and in media
player, but when i try play it i get told that the file may have been moved
or deleted. I have not deleted any music but some play the other 70% just
will not. Please help.

IM NO windows expert but i have been using WMP since WIN 98 this might help

this may be a dumb suggestion make sure the files aren't corrupt... IE
remember the name of a song that wont play.. go into my music ( of where ever
you have you music stored) find that song and double click it.. if it plays
do step one if its corrupt or doesn't play do step TWO

STEP ONE go into WMP select all your music right click and press delete.
then go to file>add to library>by searching my computer .. a prompt will show
up make sure look in is at your root music folder and click search that will
add all non corrupt music back into WMP.

STEP TWO rerip all the messed up files from CD or re download them ..
however you got them you need to re do that...
