can't login to some websites

Recently installed Windows 7 Home Premium on new home-built computer.
I've noticed that I can't login on some websites using any browser (have
tried IE8, Firefox, and Chrome).

Websites I can't login to:
Newegg.com (address:
https://secure.newegg.com/NewMyAcco...secure.newegg.com/NewMyAccount/DashBoard.aspx)

XFX support (address: http://www.xfxforce.com/en-us/Help/Support.aspx)

I can login to Newegg if I select the "Remember my Newegg ID" box. The XFX
support site has no such option. Also, is it a coincidence the sites I can't
login to are all .aspx?

Some websites I can login to:
Gmail, Netflix, Amazon, Microsoft Live ID sites, banking sites.

I've tried clearing personal data in each browser, changing cookie settings,
reinstalling Java, reinstalling antivirus software, disabling antivirus
software, starting Windows in Safe Mode w/ Networking, accessing the sites on
another user account, manually setting DNS.
Nothing has helped so far. Other computers on the same LAN can login to the
sites fine. Any ideas for a solution? Thanks.

So the clues you seem to be giving us is that this is not a DNS issue there?
What *are* the symptoms? All the symptoms, considering all the parts of the
IE window: so changes in the Address bar, Status bar, tab label, Title bar,
as well as the display area. Remember, your words have to substitute for
what our eyes might notice.

Let's take one of your plain http problem sites for example

To try to slow your diagnosis down you could try setting Active Scripting to
Prompt and reply Yes to step through the rendering of that page... Looks
like that site is doing something which prevents us from replying Yes to
step through their scripts. I had to reply No to get anywhere. In that
case then you could try using the Developer Tools Script Debugger (F12) and
see where you're getting with its Profiler. Disabling scripting works too,
which may be the best option to start with if you're not seeing anything.
Etc.

Hi Nathan,

Contact http://www.newegg.com/HelpInfo/OverView.aspx

Some sites store your IP Address with your login details (particularly https
sites). When they say "Remember Me" they actually mean "Remember Me" on this
computer. Or click the forgot password link to have your password reset and
your login credentials reset to your new computer. (did it include a new ISP
deal?).

http://www.xfxforce.com/en-us/Help/Support.aspx

I am not too sure about this one.

First go to
Tools>Internet Options
- Content tab, Autocomplete section, Settings button, and ensure "User name
and passwords on forms" and "Ask me before saving passwords" are checked.
Click the "Delete Autocomplete History" button and uncheck everything except
"Form data" and "Passwords" to reset your saved usernames and passwords. In
IE browsers, the newegg https login page will not remember your password
because it uses server verification (https)

- Security tab, click "Reset all zones to default"

Trusted sites zone, Sites button, Is newegg.com in the list? If not Add it.
Uncheck "Require server verification (https).... etc" if it is already
checked.

Usually you add your bank sites and other sites that use server verification
to your Trusted Sites zone.. Some of your trusted sites may not use
https.... like xfxforce.com.... you could add it also if you really, really
trust it. I also have my mail providers there.

- Privacy tab, set your Cookies (for the Internet Zone) to the default of
Medium.
If you have any Ad blocking Addons for IE turn them off or add the above
sites to you White list. Sites that are in the Trusted sites zone are
allowed certain popups and session cookies. You will be warned if they are
using third-party cookies.
