I just got a new laptop and want my office student & teacher edition on it
without purchasing it. Can I use the one on my desktop and put on my laptop?

hi Tahra,

If the copy you've now got came with the PC, then probably not - if it's an OEM installation, it can only be used on the PC it came
with. If you've got the installation disks, though, it's not an OEM installation and I believe your student & teacher edition allows
installation on up to 3 PCs of any configuration.

Yes you can install it on three machines as now in Office 2007. You need to
have your original CDs and serial number.
