I tried Mailwasher quite a few years ago and quickly found that it
required me to spend a lot more time examining spam than was the case
without it. I found it far more convenient to simply download all of
my email and let my filtering rules sort it for me. A Bayesian filter
can help a lot, but these days I get so little spam that even that
kind of filter is overkill.

As for Mailwasher's 'bounce' feature, I'm in full agreement with
others who point out that bouncing unwanted email is very rarely a
good thing. The fewer the people who do it, the better. The back
scatter rarely hits the people it's intended to hit.

I love Mailwasher ... Bounce every spam I get ... Subscribe to
Spamcop... Get about 3 spamms a month Now, If that!
