use this 1 because my other 1 with the blue screen wont start up no
matter what i do.

The problem message says:

device driver problem

Perhaps running chkdsk /r from the Recovery Console or a BartPE boot CD
may fix your problem.

If I saw that, I would follow the directions in this post:

There are happy campers in the commentary.

Looks kinda like yours, yes?

If you don't have a bootable XP installation CD, make a bootable
Recovery Console CD:

You can create a bootable XP Recovery Console CD when no XP media is
available by following the directions in this link:

Are you running WinXP SP2 or SP3?

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your
subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)?
What third-party firewall (if any)?

Has a(another) Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on the
computer (e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought
it)?

<QP>
The following actions might prevent an error like this from happening again:

1. Download and install updates and device drivers for your computer from
Windows Update.

2. Scan your computer for computer viruses.

3. Check your hard disk for errors.

The related description for errorcode 0x000000ED is listed as UNMOUNTABLE
BOOT VOLUME (http://aumha.org/a/stop.htm) and the most likely cause is
hard-drive data corruption.

As others have suggested, get CHKDSK to run on the affected machine, either
by using the Microsoft Recovery Console, or by creating / using a "barts
PE" (Preinstalled Environment) disk.

You can boot to the M$ Recovery Console straight from the Windows XP
Installation disk itself, by booting from it and choosing the following
option when it appears :
"To repair a Windows XP installation using Recovery Console, press R"

Alternatively, you can download a free RC cd .iso image file, with just the
RC files on it, from which you can burn your own RC CD from. Again, boot
from it and choose the option : "To repair a Windows XP installation using
Recovery Console, press R" when prompted. Download the .iso image from the
link below:
http://rapidshare.com/files/115637830/xp_rec_con.zip

If you are unable to boot from a cd-rom, you can also obtain the requisite
files and instructions to create your own bootable USB memory stick which
starts RC.
For "Recovery Console on bootable USB device" ;
Download link (ZIPfile - 6.62 M8) :
http://www.4shared.com/file/t3MX2P8z/XP_Recovery_Console_on_USB.html
Instructions : Contained within ZIPfile - readme.txt

The Bart's PE cd builder can be installed to create your own bootable cd
which contains many tools for repairing / starting your XP installation, by
downloading the latest version of the installation executable file
"pebuilder3110a.exe" from:
http://download.nu2.nu/nu2files/pebuilder3110a.exe
