You may as well put me in now, then. We've been friends for a rather long
time, and I don't expect I'll stop talking to him any time soon.

You might want to consider, though, that he has a lot of knowledge to share.
If I were to make a wish, *he* would killfile Frank (who is nothing but a
yappy spammer who doesn't seem to understand that his cut and paste antics
have put him well over the BI), and then proceed to do so.

I use windows live mail with Windows 7 and I don't see any tools>message
rules>news anywhere.
I have right clicked on alis and frank and went to the junk email option and
added the user name and the domain to blocked list and they still show up.
Any more suggestions?

Nunya, do you mean you can't see who how to access newsgroups?

You can add them again... they change their address once in awhile so the
filter quits working.

Menu bar... File - Edit - View - Go - Tools - Actions - Help
* select 'Actions'
* then 'Create rule from message'

OK, forget my stupid comments about blocking people in NG. I had the menu
bar hidden. Now that is prettydumb for a retired programmer of 35 years.

Unfortunately, Microsoft decided on an 'uncluttered' look to Mail, so hid the menu bar by default.
Over by the blue Help icon, top right, there's another icon 'Menus (Alt+M)'.
On the drop-down menu select 'Show Menu bar'.

Ah, Rhonda Lea Kirk Fries.
I already have a rule for Rhonda Lea Kirk and her alto ego
Kadaitcha Man, so you are perhaps another clone.
I have heard enough from Alias for my liking, I have tried linux
and it's not for me. This is a public forum and he can post all he
wants to but I don't want to see it.

He's dumber than a stick and a known and admitted liar.
You like those qualities in a person huh?

Maybe you're as sick as that son of a cheap whore alias is huh?

In other Win 7 programs, if the menu bar is hidden, pressing and
releasing Alt makes it visible for the moment. I haven't tried Live
Mail yet, but I'd predict it's the same.

I'm not his alter ego; I'm his ex-girlfriend, and I'm now married to someone
completely different (in more ways than one). :)

I first knew him when he was still a Windows user, and I saw the beginning
of his transition to Linux. I expect that if Frank weren't dogging his every
post, you might find him more palatable. I'm just lucky enough to know him
without his shadow, so I know what a good guy he really is.

When you killfile me, it would be best to do it on
rhondaleakirk@earthling.net. I'm not planning to change the email address
for usenet purposes, and I don't morph to evade killfiles.

Dave,
Where are you finding the tools tab in WLM? I'm running it and the only way
I've found to block is to right click and click Block sender... or go
through the safety menu.
Thanks,

When you use the junk email selection you get two options for blocking. In
this case you want to block sender and not domain, or you can do both but, I
think if you do the domain then anyone who posts from that domain (source)
will be blocked as well. AFAIK you use the domain block if you are getting
spam from a particular site that you don't want to see.
