Backup error message

In Win7 when I use Backup I get an error message "Backup encountered a
problem while backing up file C:/Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\My
Music. Error:(The system cannot find the file specified. (0x80070002))" If
I follow that path in Explore I can only get to
C:/Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\ There is no \My Music folder
under systemprofile\. Or is My Music a filename it is looking for? And, of
course, with no My Music folder there is also no file there. Is
(0x80070002) a filename or an error code. In any case why would backup try
to find a file that isn't there?

Do your backup request again - i.e. start again as from the beginning.
all will be OK then

I had the same problem after I deleted the Saved Games folder , when I
did a system backup I got the error No saved Games Folder.
When I replaced the folder, the backup was OK.

Sorry I didn't say in the beginning that I had tried numerous times to
backup without any errors. Always had the same error message shown below.
But JonC mentioned something that I tried and it worked. His situation was
a little different but I used Explore to go to systemprofile folder and
added a "My Music" folder there. Then I backed up again and got no error
message.

Thanks for the info, Jon. Following your lead I used Explore to go to the
systemprofile folder and added a new folder under it "My Music". Then I did
another backup and got no error message. VOILA!!!

I had the problem with a file from Windows.old which I had deleted. I did
another 'clean' backup and that message was gone. Annoying though.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
