If I am trying to watch YouTube for Live whatever from WhiteHouse.gov, the
audio pauses intermittantly. I have IE8 on XP with a DSL 1.5mb. What is
wrong?
Thanks

If it's anything like my experience with Youtube, it's their high traffic
rate. Streaming audio and video relies on plenty on available bandwidth.
Your 1.5mb will be an issue if you're doing anything else that uses up
download bandwidth, and if you go on Youtube when it's busy then you'll get
problems too. I've got 8Mbps ADSL at home, and in the evenings (I'm in the
UK) trying to watch a video on Youtube is pretty much a waste of time - what
with the neighbours firing up their connections and playing games, watching
videos, etc, combined with traffic on Youtube building up rapidly as all the
Americans wake up and start watching stuff, I'm lucky if I can get more than
around 10kbps from Youtube at times. That's about the point I give up and
find something more constructive to do :)

With the amount of detail you provided, it's anyone's guess.
