attempt to fix corrupt reg unable to copy

Hi,
I am geting the boot up error missing or corrupt config system. I am
attempting to follow the instructions to restore a corrupt registry. When I
try to copy files to the tmp folder, I get the error unable to copy.

Did you look in \Windows\repair for config.nt? Copy it to \Windows \syetm32
and reboot.

Did you have a power interruption, aborted restart or ungraceful
shutdown?

If you booted into Recovery Console, you should run:

chkdsk /r

on each of your HDDs. For example:

chkdsk c: /r

Let chkdsk finish and correct any problems it might find. It may take
a long time to complete or appear to be 'stuck'. Be patient. If the
HDD light is still flashing, it is doing something. Keep an eye on
the percentage amount to be sure it is still making progress. It may
appear to go backwards sometimes.

You should do this first - before copying anything. Sometimes that is
all you need to do. If it still doesn't work, additional
troubleshooting is necessary, but that needs to work first.

Running chkdsk is fine to run even if it doesn't find any problems.

You need to attempt repairs from the XP Recovery Console. If you need
