Any tips for converting 2007 notebooks to 2010 format?

Hi,

MSDN subscribers who are at the level "Visual Studio 2010 Premium" or above will be able to download Office 2010 RTM on
Thursday, April 22. Are there any tips or gotchas I should be aware of before converting my OneNote 2007 notebooks to
2010 format? And can both OneNote 2007 and OneNote 2010 be installed side-by-side (32-bit versions only, of course)?

Thanks,
Chuck

If you plan to still use both programs or share data with someone using
OneNote 2007, you should keep the Notebooks in 2007 format.

Converting should be easy - If you upgrade from 2007 ON will offer to
convert all of your Notebooks or each one individually if you open a 2007
Notebook. You can also convert back and forth by right-clicking on the
Notebook and selecting "Properties". There will be buttons to convert in
each direction.

I've converted back and forth with no issues yet. Just right-click the
notebook in OneNote, click Properties and there are buttons for converting
to 2010 or 2007 format.

You can install both versions side-by-side with only minor issues - but why
would you want to? 2010 will read/write 2007 notebooks just fine.
