Android OS Accounts for 79 percent of Mobile Malware Threats

SMS (Text Message) Trojans, Rootkits, and Fake Google Play Domains are threats to owners of Android based systems. This is because Android systems are primary targets for "malware attacks due to its market share and open source architecture." The bulletin is a reminder that updating an operating system is a key security measure.
