ALV rev. 5 Status Report

REVISION 5 OF A LEARNERS' VIEW (ALV) OF LEARNING on Classic Education: A Learners' View (ALV) of Choices during Teaching and Learning continues. You may have noticed that entries on the ALV dropdown list have increased and now appear in different order. Changing the arrangement of entries resulted in two features.

1. Articles are arranged in successive levels of detail, much as you see increasing amounts of detail at 20,000 feet than at 30,000 feet when you look out the window of an airplane at the ground below. The drop down list now has four levels of detail for you to read.

2. New articles that fill gaps in descriptions revealed by the rearrangement. Over a dozen new entries now exist. In turn, those entries required editing of other entries in order to provide smoother transitions from one page to others and a more coherent description of a learners view of choices during teaching and learning.

That said, work continues editing and completing entries that serve as place holders or notes. Editing gives priority to reducing the number of words and to simplify sentence structure of entries for easier reading. Your questions and comments are always welcome.
