Administrators Permission

I was going to edit some text on a CD-RW,and I got a message saying. You
do not have permission to save in this director. See the administrator
to obtain permission. Would you like to save in my document folder
instead. How do I get permission from the administrator ? When I set
this computer up I set myself up as the administrator.

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your
subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)?
What third-party firewall (if any)?

Has a(nother) Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on the
computer?

Did a Norton or McAfee free-trial come preinstalled on the computer when you
bought it? (Doesn't matter if you never used or Activated it.)

You probably should've selected someone else as administrator, someone who
knows how to enable write permission (disable "Read only") on that CD's
directory if it is indeed RW, and if your CD drive is also write-capable.
