Access Denied!

Flightless Bird
They go a lot of nerve making Access Denied directories on my goddamn
system. It My fracking system and I and the administator and this is an
insult. I can't access my own fracking backup files.

What directories? Some of what looks like a directory actually isn't. Like
C:/Users\<username>\My Documents is not a directory but rather a "junction
point".

Right click on the directory.
Select "Properties"
Select the "Security" tab.
Make sure that your name as "Administrator" had full privileges. If not
change it.
Make sure that your name as "User" has full privileges. If not, change it.

Apply and exit.

to maintain compatibility with earlier Windows versions.

Problem is... When you screw up it's usually somebody else who has to
clean up the mess.

That's why sysadmins don't carry guns.

So in what location are these "fracking" backup files?
