Implemented Technology versus Manufacturers

Should all of the technology forums be placed under one tab called technology?

Right now manufacturers is the tab - should this remain?

Space is limited on that navigation bar and I'm not sure how to add to the secondary area but that might be a solution.

How about a tab for e-Hardware and one for Software vs. one for Manufacturing? They both indicate electronic communication devices and both can include advances, uses, problems, advantages, etc.

This is a puzzle I haven't completed also. The term "technology" is derived from the Greek word technologia meaning systematic treatment, as in art, skill, craft, e.g., the art of teaching, the craft of learning, and the skill of writing something. It refers also to bows, arrows, bolts, rivets, knives, cars, pencils, paper, prepared foods, etc.

I think a more complete term is advanced electronic communications technology (AECT) is better in a narrative or description of the use of the tab.

The site emphasis would be too heavy on the PC topics.

Clever. Space is a premium up on the tabs.

I decided not to use AECT and went with Tech - it's the common one rather than academic. If AECT was used then visitors would probably wonder where all the tech stuff went
