I downloaded Opera for the Libranet system last night and it was horrible. After sleeping on it for a bit the idea came to mind that the fonts on the system may be the problem. Lo and behold, there were new versions of xfonts-75 pt available. I installed these and tada - perfect browsing in Opera.
Today, I'm having to fuss with Gnumeric. I prefer to use OpenOffice.org for simple tasks; e.g. my seating chart and lesson plans. However, the school's still using paper for record keeping. I started looking for a GNU/Linux based gradebook but most of the projects have stalled or are integrated into a larger web-based project. I just need a quick-down-n-dirty spreadsheet like gradebook. Therefore, I've turned to gnumeric and have built a real simple spreadsheet.
10 week grades are due tomorrow :-(
