The three iso images were downloaded and CDs burned yesterday but I only needed the first two to complete a desktop installation.
Hardware
KT400 motherboard
AMD XP 1500+
Quick Thoughts
Installation followed the same steps as redhat 9. The updates seem to be in the kernel (now sporting 2.4.22) and applications.
The boot up sequence is hidden by default. A nice image of a computer appears. It is possible to press the details image to get a look under the hood.
GNOME and KDE were installed by default.
Personally, VectorLinux with Dropline-gnome (now 2.4.1) seems smoother but I'll keep playing with it today and see if I can find more good points.
Oh - and yeah - I have 24 images that I'll upload to the gallery.
