My students were fussing with one of the computers today. They were arguing over who was going to use it. Right smack dab in the middle of the argument one student turns off the machine. Argh. I could have fainted. Luckily, the machine was fine. There didn't seem to be any loss of data. Just lost hair.

This gave me time to explain to the students that you should never turn a PC off when it is in the middle of doing something. It's just like my ending this sent

I was looking around and came across the XGrove website, http://xgroove.stygian.net ...

It looks like this could be an interesting product. The developer is using Enlightenment. A friend tried KDE and was not satisfied.

I decided it was time to add a new module to the site. So after getting the smiles to work in this forum (it was simply fixing the paths), I decided to upload this new block to postnuke.

It is supposed to be possible to size these screenshots. My only complaint is that the sizing doesn't appear to be working. It looks like the right side of the block is being cut off. I'll tinker with it a bit more later.
