SuSE and Apache access logs

I was trying to find a app that would read the apache access logs like Red Hat
does in the system logs and then clear them out on a weekley basis.

Linux Magazine (http://www.linux-mag.com/2002-10/lamp_01.html) published a nice article on how to use MySQL rather than grep on access logs. The next month is a follow up for live logs (http://www.linux-mag.com/2002-11/lamp_01.html).

Maybe this is more or less the information you want. Since plesk is used on our managed RH server then I'm not much help for even attempting to read access logs on a SuSE box.

Thanks for the reply, I have been trying to get AWStats installed but can't get the perl script to run......
