It was time to upgrade the 0.6-6 version since this latest is now in the repositories for debian. Launch time is now half the time. It used to take 12 seconds from clicking to getting the dialog box asking if I'd like to actually launch the application. It now takes about 5 seconds.
It is still too slow on this machine but better.
