On Dynebolic, If I press F12, the main menu comes up! The way to close the menu is by clicking the blue bar at the top once and a little X should come up! I thought that was pretty interesting myself.

Cool! I also found out that in GNOME if you double right mouse click on the desktop, it brings up 'Home'
