Desktop Icons

Does anyone know how to add icons to XFce's desktop? I've read all of the XFce documentation and can't find how it is done. Vector Linux has them and so far, all of my poking around has not discovered how to do it.

Found it. Vector Linux loads 'dfm', a desktop file manager, xfwm, the windows manager and 'xfce' when you select xfce.
I guess I jumped the gun with my first post.

Do you like XFce?

It's quick, at least compared with KDE. I use kde most of the time, but I do experiment with other WMs. I've tried all the boxes (Black, Flux, Open), Enlightenment, IceWm, WindowMaker, Gnome.
