The suggestion that a News site is to have original content is really a struggle for me. Personally, Tux Reports is not a news site and yet we get email from people criticizing us for not acting like one...
On the other hand, I visit sites with links to other stories simply to save me time from roaming around. I tend to have my favorites and even catch myself only relying on them.
