The other day (sorry but I can't remember which post), someone suggested that the install problems with MDK 9.1 rc2 were due to WD drive. I disagreed because the same drive had MDK 9.1 rc1 on it previously as well as MDK releases for over past two years.
I started to look around at the drives being used for testing and the majority are WD drives. None seem to have problems -- if and only if -- I do not switch between file system types. Otherwise, I'm required to do some monkeying around by clearing the partition table and restarting the install.
For those individuals having trouble -- maybe the above procedure would help.
Anyone else know of a better way? I ask because I have yet to replace a WD drive that might at first blush seem "bad" after an MDK install ...
