Backup downloaded .deb's

I have another question.

I downloaded quit a few deb files with Xandros update, which downloaded and installed all in one pass. My question is. Where are the deb files lodged?

The reason for this question is. I would like to back them up so as to use on anther instalation by bruning them to CD so as not to download them again later.

Ah yes, one of my favorite subjects ;o)

Apparently this isn't an option right now... although there is a workaround posted under tips & tricks on the Xandros board (requires ripping the files from a temp directory BEFORE you click on the "done" button)

In a chat w/ Matt L last Wed, he indicated they are working on making the debs available as a "normal" download that you could easily back up.

Since I am stuck on a low bandwidth connection, I also asked if it might be possible to get a "copy" of XN sources on a CDROM... to my surprise he said that they MAY make that available in the future.

Thanks; I guess I'm not the onlyone thinks like that.

But I guess it's to late for me, I've already clicked the "Done" button :roll:

I sure do hope the get those options available to us.
