apt-get

having trouble getting apt to work. I copied my/etc/apt/sources.list from another debian partition to my yos /etc/apt/sources.list but to no avail...all i get is

E: The method driver /usr/lib/apt/methods/ftp could not be found.

please help

Hi there,

My guess is that the two distros are ever so slightly incompatible. Do you have a backup of the original apt-get sources file?
