If you've read the other threads in this folder you are aware that I had a problem getting lilo set up under Xandros.
It's probably because I had 2 versions on windows (98 Aand 98se) installed on my machine.
Also, Xandros uses ReiserFS file system, & Partition Magic/Bootmagic ( my former bootmanager) doesn't do ReiserFS.( not even the latest version 8 )
So, I just recieved my copy of Acronis OS Selector 5.0, installed it, & was immediately able to boot into Xandros without the floppy. I have yet to try windoze yet, but I doubt there will be any problems
What makes it sweeter is that I got in on a closeout at Microcenter.com & got it for $5 + shipping. (sorry, looks like that deal is over).
The current version is 8, but they "skipped" 6 & 7. This version works fine, so if you find it somewhere cheap & need a manager/partitioner, don't hesitate, it'll do what you want, & it's not hard to work with at all.
