I have a question about dual booting.

I've installed three different versions of Linux (Mandrakes, RedHat, And Progeny Debian) all three seem to instll ontop of MS Windows, then incorporate MS in the boot loader as an opption to selecte when booting.

But yet when you install RedHat on top of Mandrakes, or visaversa the boot loader won't incorporate the other automatic. You have to point it at the other system. Which in my case being a rather green penguin, is not an easy chore.

Where can I get a dual boot loader that will take care of this for me? I am no longer running MS windows at all on this Box. But I would like to try other distros of Linux without messing up this instalation I'm using right now. I do have a 5g drive blank just waiting for such a adventure.

If you're prepared to pay for the privilege, check out Acronis OS Selector (http://www.acronis.com/products/osselector/), which has the functionality which you require.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I don't mind buying software. I just don't like MS's way of selling me software then saying I'm only renting the right to use it. Not to mention they are snooping over my shoulder and leaving open ports in the new version of XP.

Which I trashed and retruned to Milliume edition. It an't much better but because I rent that pc in an internet cafe I have no choice but to use MS on it.

This trusty old box I'm running don't much like MS it chocks regularly. But Linuxs just wisses along.
