I came across this page while looking through the logs

http://taylormade.dns2go.com/hotlist.htm

It's always fun to see what others are willing to share. Years ago, hotlists (bookmarks) were all that would be on webpages. Now blogs are the rave. The bookmarks or weblinks seemed to have been pushed aside.

Personally, sharing bookmarks is a great way to surf the web. My sister sends me links all of the time. My brother also sends links.

What are your favorite links?

Arts & Letters Daily is a great round-up of currect articles, essays, book reviews. It's not computer or OS related, but it's very good.

This is a well written website:

http://www.crispyhead.org/

Crispyhead is a person who has a mind in a constant state of noise. You know when you're carrying a packet of potato chips and no matter how hard you try to stop it from making crackly chip noises it does it anyway? Well, I've always thought my brain had similar characteristics to a packet of crispy chips, always noisy and full of static. Its always thinking and getting confused, going off into tangents and the results could either be quite funny or downright embarrassing. Everyone has their 'crispyhead' moments, some more often than others. And that is what a Crispyhead is.

I haven't yet figured out what a "BLOG" is. But links I understand. These are some of my favorites...

http://www.linux.com/ My first stop for news
http://freshmeat.net/ Second stop, looking for new programs or just plain looking
http://www.tldp.org/ One of the best resources
http://www.tldp.org/LDP/LG/current/ A very user friendly site for those with linux questions
http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/ If you're looking for the latest rpm's or trying to fill those dependencies
http://freshrpms.net/ More rpm's
http://loll.sourceforge.net/linux/links/ Just plain fun to look around
http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/ If you can't find that program anywhere else it's probably here
