I have always avoided the history of philosophies (http://www.fsmitha.com/h1/ch12phil.htm) due to the foreign names which are difficult to pronounce. However, the site Cynics, Epicureans, Stoics, and Skeptics (http://www.fsmitha.com/h1/ch12phil.htm) is very easy to read.
