Sorry about not posting lately but I've been busy with credential classes. Besides only a few of you read these and I'm not sure there is much value in my ramblings lately. Oh well, maybe something will be written that is important.

Something strange happened on the desknote this morning. Phoenix 0.4 is installed. Last night I left the unit on with the browser open. Certain websites would not display properly if I had already been there. This may be an issue with cache and I haven't really investigated any bug reports or anyone else stating there is a problem. Interestingly, Tux Reports shows up fine. The problem can also be solved by closing the tab and relaunching phoenix. shrug.

There is one annoying issue I've found with certain installations of KDE. The Klipper is a pain in the butt. It is constantly getting in my way and my preference is to highlight text and then use the middle button to paste. This doesn't always work though. I haven't figured out what is happening but maybe someone might know. I'm not sure if Klipper may be in the way on that procedure.

The rpms for evolution were downloaded from a Ximian mirror. All were placed in the same directory. I opened a terminal, cd to directory containing the files and issued the command:

rpm -Uvh --nodeps *.rpm

Everything seems to be fine so far. Screenshots of the 1.2 are in the gallery.

The post above just gave me a thought -- is it possible to use the html code tag on postnuke? Sure enough -- it works. I also fixed the span and h3 tags that were not working the other day.
