The new synaptic 0.27 is now installed on my main machine at home. There is a new dialog box which provides a summary of the changes to be made. Now, if there was only a place for changelogs to be added ...
Most of the day has been spent trying to install a new pn module. The installation was successful but the module did not provide the features that were expected. Oh well.
Next, after giving up on the module, attention was spent on the About Tux Reports section. It is now in two columns and some of the language was rearranged. Oh. Over 3800 reads for that section too. Not bad. You can go directly to the changes by following this link.

Finally, some attention was spent with the snapshots of Mozilla and Galeon. They locked up several times in which the mouse cursor changed to a strange looking symbol. No keyboard input nor mouse input was accepted after the mouse cursor changed. Well, except I was able to press Ctrl - Alt - Backspace. OK. I lied.
Anyway, the two products look like they've come a long way.
